Frequently Asked Questions (and by "frequently" I mean "very, very rarely.)
Q: Why 101 words?
A: I find that setting a very specific goal helps me actually get it done. It's also a great way to practice using your words wisely and of editing your own stories.
Q: This story isn't exactly 101 words! What gives?
A: I often make small changes to the stories after they've been posted, and I can't really be bothered to stick to the word limit.
Q: Have you published anything?
A: I haven't actually written anything long enough to be published.
Q: Will you write a story for me?
A: If you ask nicely and it's not in any way related to social realism, I might be willing to write a short story for you.
Q: What's your beef with social realism?
A: Long story short, I loathe reading social realism. I've always felt that stories are meant as gateways to new worlds. Reading about normal people doing normal things in a normal setting is just about the worst thing I can imagine. But each to their own, I guess.
